DRESSED ("we," "our," or "us") is operated by AlgoFāv LLC, an Illinois limited liability company. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use DRESSED at trydressed.com.
DRESSED requests read-only access to your Google Calendar solely to display upcoming events alongside outfit suggestions. We do not sell, share, or use calendar data for any purpose other than generating outfit recommendations within the app. We cache event titles, start times and locations in your DRESSED profile so outfit recommendations remain available when the app reopens; we do not store event descriptions or attendees. Event titles and locations are sent to Anthropic's API as part of generating your outfit recommendations. You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from the DRESSED Style Profile, which deletes your cached event data. Our use complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
DRESSED requests read-only access to your Gmail (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly) solely to identify clothing purchase receipts so Vera can add purchased items to your closet automatically. When you tap "Scan Receipts," DRESSED searches your Gmail for messages from clothing retailers, extracts the brand and product name from each receipt, and presents the items to you for manual confirmation before adding them to your DRESSED closet.
DRESSED does not read, store, or process Gmail messages outside the receipt-detection flow. Receipt content is processed in memory at the time of the scan and discarded immediately afterward; only the brand, product name, and purchase date you confirm are saved to your DRESSED closet. We do not retain raw email contents, headers, attachments, or any messages that are not clothing receipts. You can revoke Gmail access at any time from your Google account permissions page or from the DRESSED Style Profile.
DRESSED's use of information received from Google APIs, including Gmail, adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Gmail data, use it for advertising, transfer it to third parties for any purpose other than providing the DRESSED service to you, or allow humans to read it (except as required for security, with your explicit consent, to comply with applicable law, or in aggregated and anonymized form for internal operations).
We retain your account and wardrobe data for as long as your account is active. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at hello@trydressed.com. We will delete your data within 30 days of your request.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us at hello@trydressed.com to exercise these rights.
DRESSED is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted storage, secure HTTPS connections, and authentication via OAuth or single-use email links.
DRESSED lets you share individual wardrobe items and outfit boards at a public URL. Sharing is off by default and is always your choice.
A shared item page shows the item's name, brand, category, colours, photo and any story you wrote about it. It does not show your name, email or profile picture. Item pages are not listed in search engines.
A shared board page shows the board's name, any note you added, and images of the pieces on it. Your name appears only if you choose to show it when sharing. Boards are listed in search engines by default; you can turn that off when you share, and boards with fewer than two pieces are never listed.
Photos that appear to contain a person are never eligible for sharing.
When you make an item private its public link stops working permanently and cannot be restored. When you make a board private its link stops working, and re-sharing that board later will reuse the same link.
DRESSED is a small, founder-operated product. As the operator, the DRESSED team has technical access to data stored in our database, including wardrobe items, outfit history, and style profiles. We access individual user data only to investigate reported issues, debug bugs, or improve the product. We do not browse user data for any other purpose, share individual user data with third parties beyond the integrations described above, or sell user data.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of DRESSED after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
