ABOUT DRESSED

Not built by a stylist.
Built by someone who needed one.

DRESSED was created by a regular guy who spent 25 years helping companies get found on the internet — and spent 17 minutes every morning unable to find an outfit.

Mornings DRESSED has already solved

Why I built this

I am not a fashion person. I've never been someone who walks out of the house and thinks "that went well." I own plenty of clothes — more than I wear, less than I need — and for most of my adult life I've stood in front of my closet every morning running the same broken loop: What's clean? What's appropriate for today? What goes with what? Is it cold? Do I have meetings?

It's a solvable problem. It just requires someone to hold all the variables at once: your wardrobe, your calendar, the weather, the occasion, your history. A good personal stylist does this. Most people don't have a personal stylist.

I spent 25 years helping companies get found on the internet. It turns out the skills that make you good at SEO — pattern recognition, systems thinking, understanding how people search for solutions — also make you good at building the solution itself.

DRESSED started as a personal project. I wanted something that would read my Google Calendar, check the weather, look at what I actually owned, and just tell me what to wear. Not suggest. Tell. The app I built for myself turned out to be something other people wanted too.

Built for the decision, not the hobby

Most fashion apps are optimized for the part of getting dressed that fashion lovers enjoy: building lookbooks, curating capsule collections, tracking aesthetics. That's a real thing, and there are good apps for it. But it's not the same problem as standing in front of your closet on a Tuesday morning trying to figure out what to actually put on.

DRESSED is optimized for the daily decision. The goal isn't to make you engage with your wardrobe more. It's to make the morning take less time, happen less often, and produce a better outfit. Vera doesn't ask you to browse — she just tells you the answer.

📅
Calendar-aware recommendations
DRESSED reads your Google Calendar before suggesting anything. Client presentation at 2pm means something different than a WFH day, and Vera knows the difference.
🧠
Style Memory that improves over time
Every thumbs up and thumbs down teaches Vera your taste. The longer you use it, the more it sounds like a stylist who actually knows you.
🛍️
Shops for what you're actually missing
The AI Shopper doesn't suggest random items. It identifies the specific gaps in your wardrobe — the pieces whose absence is limiting your outfit range — then finds them on Amazon.
📊
Built by an SEO, so you can actually find it
The irony of a style app that nobody can find in search is not lost on me. DRESSED was built with search visibility in mind from day one.

Who DRESSED is for

DRESSED started as a tool for one specific person: someone who wants to look good but doesn't want getting dressed to be a whole thing. People with a closet full of clothes who still feel like they have nothing to wear. People who've been late to a meeting because they couldn't decide what to put on. That's still the heart of it.

But the same engine that solves wardrobe paralysis turned out to be useful for people who do love fashion — they just want better tools for it. The AI Personal Shopper finds the specific gap pieces missing from a thoughtfully-built wardrobe and matches them to your existing brand tier. Cost Per Wear shows you which favorites are actually earning their place — the $300 blazer you wear twice a week versus the $40 shirt you don't. The Closet Cleanout tool reviews what you never reach for and tells you honestly what to donate, what to try harder, and why — with specific reasons, not just "you don't wear this." Rate My Outfit gives you a real second opinion on a look you're not sure about, with a specific swap suggestion from your actual closet. Plan My Week lets you build a full week of outfits at once, the way fashion-engaged people already think about getting dressed. And Vera's Style Memory gives you a transparent, editable record of what the AI has learned about your taste — readable in plain English, not a black box.

If you care about wearing what you already own — about building a capsule wardrobe from what's already in your closet, about not buying things you don't need — DRESSED is built for that too. Style Memory pushes you toward your real wardrobe instead of more shopping. Cost Per Wear makes the case for fewer, better pieces, in numbers.

Whether you hate the daily decision or love thinking about clothes but want to do it more thoughtfully, DRESSED is for you. Come try it.
